Cobert Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 1 November 2026
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Cobert mobile application, website, and related services (together, “Cobert”, the “Service”). Cobert is the trading name of Rokas Giedrys (“Cobert”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What Cobert provides
Cobert is a fitness and training-tracking tool. It may allow you to create a profile, record workouts and activities, set goals, plan training, review progress and insights, and sync or import information from supported services or devices.
The Service is for personal, informational, and organisational purposes. Features may change, be added, suspended, or removed at any time.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you are under the age required to consent to online services where you live, use Cobert only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
You must provide accurate information, keep your login details confidential, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
One person may not share an account with another person or create an account for an unlawful purpose.
3. Health and safety disclaimer
Cobert is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency assistance, or a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional or coach. Any workout suggestions, calculations, metrics, insights, or other content are general information only.
You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing an exercise programme, particularly if you have a medical condition, injury, symptoms, or concerns about your health. Stop exercising and seek appropriate help if you feel unwell, injured, or unsafe. Never use Cobert for emergencies.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of information and content you submit to Cobert, including profile information, goals, workout records, measurements, notes, and images (“Your Content”).
You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, and display Your Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, improve, and provide the Service, and as described in our Privacy Policy. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted, except where retention is required by law or reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, backups, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit Your Content. You must not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or that exposes another person’s private information without permission.
5. Connected services and devices
If you connect Cobert to a third-party service or device, you authorise Cobert to access and process the information made available through that connection. Your use of that third party remains subject to its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, or conduct.
You can disconnect an integration through the available Cobert controls or the third party’s controls. Disconnecting may not delete information already imported into Cobert; you may need to delete that information or your account separately.
6. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not help anyone else to:
- break the law or violate another person’s rights;
- interfere with, probe, scan, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
- bypass access controls, rate limits, or security features;
- reverse engineer, copy, rent, sell, sublicense, or exploit the Service except where applicable law permits it;
- upload malware or other harmful code;
- scrape or collect information from the Service by automated means without our written permission; or
- use the Service to provide medical, emergency, or safety-critical services.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, and other materials supplied by us, is owned by or licensed to Cobert and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.
“Cobert” and related logos and marks are our property or the property of our licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to use them.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system. Maintenance, updates, outages, third-party failures, and events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.
We may update or discontinue all or part of the Service. Where required by law, we will give notice of material changes. Your continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
9. Fees and subscriptions
Cobert may offer free features and may later offer paid features or subscriptions. If paid features are introduced, the applicable price, billing period, renewal terms, cancellation method, and any additional terms will be shown before purchase. App-store purchases are also subject to the relevant app store’s terms. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable except under the applicable purchase terms.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Cobert at any time and may request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, abuse the Service, or where necessary to protect the Service or its users. Where reasonable and legally permitted, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
After termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should continue—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute terms—will continue.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability. We do not warrant that the Service or any data, calculation, insight, or imported information will be complete, accurate, or suitable for your circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cobert and its officers, employees, contractors, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) [insert minimum cap, if applicable].
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Cobert harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or Your Content, except to the extent caused by Cobert’s own unlawful conduct.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [insert jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of [insert venue] will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory rights available to you under the law of your country of residence.
15. General terms
If a provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law. These Terms and the documents they expressly incorporate are the entire agreement about the Service.
